HUNT THE BACKCOUNTRY
All hunts take place in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. Our camps are located in the greater Yellowstone area, just beyond the border of the park.
Comfortable tents outfitted with wood stoves, cots, sleeping pads and firewood make for comfortable accomodations in the wilderness. We provide a camp cook and all the meals and snacks for your hunt, so you can focus your energy on finding game and enjoy coming back to a hot, homemade meal!
Early Season Rifle Elk Hunts
One of the few places in Montana you can hunt bulls in the rut with your rifle.
Hunt with experienced guides or opt for self guided. Explore the vast and rugged terrain of the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness, the better shape you are in the easier it will be for you to find your bull.

Horseback and Hiking
Our horses will get you in to camp, and if you have a long trek we can cover some ground on horses, but you will have to put in some legwork too. Being in good shape increases your opportunity rate exponentially, so you can follow game trails and get to the hard to access places that the elk like to hide out without your horses crashing over deadfall or dense woods and giving you away.
